Media Arts

In my life as an art teacher over the years I have developed my skills in Graphic Design, Photography, and Video Production. This has been out of necessity for classes that I have been teaching or to document events for the schools yearbook. I have made chapel videos or videos to help with mission advancement.

I have used the technical understanding and skills that I have grown and taught, to fill the needs of the stories or events that need to be preserved. This process like most things in my life are a collaboration of students and alumni and me working together to make creative choices that are impactful.

Photography

Photography is something that I genuinely enjoy as it is a fun way to make people feel seen and that they matter. I love every fall reaching out to some friends and asking to take their family photos. Over the years I have had an opportunity to take senior pictures, a couple last minute weddings, and documented more high school events than I could probably remember. Because I don’t want to be a photographer who makes money you can imagine what these images may look like. If you have any situations that are in need of photos because of something that fell through you can always try reaching out.
